UILI LabMeeting in New Delhi, India on October, 27 - 28th
|
|
UILI has as a major policy to approach the Board to the different countries members to know first-hand the problems of the laboratories in each region.
Following this goal our association has programmed two relevant activities for this year:
- On next 26 -28th of October the UILI Board will meet in New Delhi, India coinciding with ILAC’s annual meeting.
- “UILI LabMeeting”: UILI with the collaboration of AOIL (Association of Indian Laboratories), is working in the organization of the Labmeeting, a work shop event with the participation of several speakers from different countries experts in topics of current interest for laboratory business.

UILI participation in REMCO’s Ekaterinburg June Meeting
|
|
|
On June 14th to 17th in Ekaterinburg, Russia, the meeting of REMCO (ISO’s reference materials committee) was held in which participated two representatives of our association: Dr. Toru Matsumura (JEMCA-JAPAN) and Mr. Alfredo Montes-Niño (MICROBIOTICOS, BRASIL). It was a very productive meeting where relevant issues for laboratories were discussed. There where regulators of different countries and reference materials producers. It was decided the change to standard of the existing guide. UILI was very well welcomed at that meeting as representative of users of reference materials.

Laboratory Practice Program 2017 is open now!

- 16th UILI ILP 2017: Dimensional Stability during laundering and domestic drying, Force by Traction and lengthening at rupture point, Abrasion Resistance – Martindale in textiles
- 17th UILI ILP 2017: Conductivity, settleable solids, Solid soluble sulfides, COD, BOD, Hydrocarbons, Coliforms, Detergents, Phenolics and Metals in river water

Our ‘2016 UILI LABMEETING’ should be seen as an initiative to raise awareness for the importance of the laboratory industry societal level. From this perspective, it also forecasts composite talks: many social and economic aspects of laboratory testing do pass in review by prominent speakers from around the globe. I refer to the website of UILI (www.uili.org). There you can find all information and documentation concerning the activities. Please find useful information if you would like to be a speaker at the 2016 UILI LABMEETING. Please submit your proposals for presentations before August 20, 2016 and register at
www.uili.org.
